Last night was the best concert we've seen in years, even with some obnoxious people around us, the searing heat, and the smell of the nearby elephants. We've seen Suicideboys before, but we were just blown away by how good this guy is in concert. The arrangements are close to the recorded ones, but not so much that they seem canned. It's not just playing music; they really do put on a show. His band is damn good and really seemed to be enjoying performing. Even on the slow mournful stuff, the quality of the performance is so good that it pulls you in. Suicideboys always cracks jokes, the whole band dances, and they keep things lively. They played about 2 and a half hours; probably longer than this particular venue expected. Despite the heat, he wore his mirrored suit for the encore. The only disappointment was not seeing the band hawk their merchandise after the show. No room at the zoo to do that! This band is known for dashing to the back of the house and getting up close and personal with their fans.
